Request for Qualifications
(Measure G/Phase II New Buildings) for:
Construction of the Sierra College Nevada County Campus, Measure G/ Phase II New Buildings, Increment 1 & 2 pursuant to the Lease/Leaseback provision of Education Code Section 81335.
The Sierra Joint Community College District invites licensed general contractors to submit their qualifications for the opportunity to construct new buildings on the campus located in Grass Valley, CA.
The district desires to work with Western Nevada County contractors, and will give preference to those contractors. Western Nevada County is defined as the boundaries of SFID #2 (the map is here as a pdf).
Proposals are due no later than 4:00 p.m., March 24, 2009.

A pre-submittal conference will be held on March 13 at the Sierra College – Nevada County Campus Room S116, 250 Sierra College Drive, Grass Valley, CA. Projects covered will be as follows:
- 10:00 a.m. for the New Buildings Increment 1 & 2
- 11:00 a.m. for the Renovations
All participants are required to sign in. The pre-bid conference is expected to take approximately one hour. This conference is recommended for all bidders but is not mandatory. A brief site walk of the campus will follow.
