V Building, Math & Technology
The V-Building is open and there will be classes occurring there on the first day of school, additionally V-211 is the location of the Sciences and Mathematics Division office.
Roughly the building is a mix of labs and classrooms on each floor for the following areas:
- 1st Floor – Technology programs including Computer Science, Computer Information Services, Computer Integrated Electronics/ Mechatronics and Computer Service Technology.
- 2nd Floor – Physical Anthropology, Math, Engineering Support Technology, Individualized Learning Program, Developmental Math Skills Lab and the Sciences & Mathematics Division office.
- 3rd Floor - Math Center and Math classrooms
There will, of course, be other courses from additional disciplines being taught in the building where there is available space.
There are a number of classes moving from their original locations to new homes in the V-Building. Students can verify their class locations in their online schedule. However, all classrooms will also be posted with change information. Lists of all classrooms that will be moving will be available in areas where there are a lot of changes such as the Weaver Building.
The V-Building is equipped with directional signs indicating the location of classrooms and the main entrance facing campus enters on the second floor.
Finally, there will be food service available near the V-building, located between the V and M buildings. Crazy Momma’s Cafe will be present Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
