What is the Speakers' Bureau?
Sierra College has established a Speakers Bureau as a free resource to the communities served by the college. This is your opportunity to tap into a remarkable local asset. Sierra College is noted for its talented faculty and staff. A majority are recognized experts in their field of study. They are happy to share this knowledge with you!
Whether your group has an audience of 20 or an audience of 200, we are here to inform, stimulate and inspire you.

How Do I Schedule a Speaker?
Look through our list of available speakers on our website. A short profile of each speaker is included along with their contact information. Contact the speaker directly and make arrangements directly. This way you can get answers to specific questions.
- Provide the name of your group and desired location, date and time for the talk. Also provide the approximate audience size and amount of time generally allotted to the speaker.
- Speaking dates are by appointment only. The earlier in advance you submit your request, the better your chances are of booking the desired speaker and date.
- All speakers are involved in this speakers outreach program on a volunteer basis and no fee is charged.
- If you have difficulties making arrangements directly with the speaker, call the Marketing/ Public Relations department at (916) 781-0411 for assistance.
