Sierra College Health Fees

All students attending Sierra College pay a Health Fee. The Board of Directors established this fee in 1987. The fee pays for the operation of Health Services. Any enrolled student is welcome to be seen at the clinic. General visits are free, physicals $10, immunization prices vary. A small fee is charged when any laboratory tests are performed. Some prescriptions are available at Health Services for a reduced cost. The clinics are staffed by Family Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and a Physician, as well as our front office staff.

Student Center Fee

A Sierra College student body election resulted in approval of a mandatory Student Center Fee, designed solely for the purpose of funding a new student center. The non-refundable fee, charged for the Fall and Spring semesters is $1 per unit to a maximum of $5 per semester.

Required of all students except those:

  • receiving financial aid
  • in supportive education
  • enrolled in OLLI courses only
  • enrolled in in-service courses only

Questions regarding the student center fee may be directed to the ASSC office at (916) 781-0499.
