Cheer Squad
2009-10 Season
The 2009-2010 season is up and running! The “Red” squad, consisting of 16 talented members, went to UCA College Camp at UC Santa Barbara, and brought home two 2nd place trophies, and one 1st place trophy. While at camp they will be learned new cheer material to bring back to Sierra College and use at games and appearances. The “White” squad, consisting of 7 talented members provides more depth and energy to the team. Both squads are currently practicing together in preparation for their national’s routine for USA College National’s in Anaheim, CA, February 14 and 15, 2010.
Throughout the year they will be cheering on the sidelines at all home and away football games as well as all conference basketball games. Mark your calendar, as they will be showcasing their national’s routine at the final basketball game on February 12 at both the women’s and men’s half times.
Cheering at Sierra College is one of the greatest traditions you can be a part of at Sierra. While still in its infancy, the program has taken the title of the most talented and “collegiate” junior college cheer program in Northern California.
