Nursing Program

Students interested in any of the nursing or certificate programs are strongly encouraged to review the information for each program found in the college catalog AND make an appointment with an academic counselor for educational planning.

Nursing Program Effective Spring 2009: the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) with a cumulative passing score of 67% is required for admission into the Associate Degree Registered Nursing Program and the Upward Mobility LVN to RN Programs.

Effective Fall 2009 the TEAS test is administered by the nursing department once the student cohort is chosen using randomized selection and the Chancellor’s Predictor of Success program. Selected students are given provisional acceptance pending the outcome of the TEAS assessment and the background check and drug screen.

Applications

We will be accepting applications for the LVN to RN Upward Mobility program for the Spring 2010 class from May 1, 2009 through 3 p.m. May 22, 2009. You may mail the application to the address below or submit it in person to the nursing department located at the Roseville Gateway campus, 333 Sunrise, room 101.

RN Applications

We are not currently accepting RN applications.

VN Applications

We are not accepting applications for the Vocational Nursing Program. The Vocational Nursing program is currently on hold. We will update this webpage when we have a projected date for accepting applications and admitting a new class.
