IMPORTANT UPDATE – The new registration date and time is now Thursday, June 11, 2009 at approximately 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. This change was necessary to provide additional notification to interested students when college administrators learned that the previous email was stopped by certain spam filters.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in waiting for the much anticipated Sierra College Energy Technology - Photovoltaic’s program to begin. Please be advised that this is your official notification to register for the ESS 30, Fundamentals of Photovoltaic’s course. Registration for the course sections will begin on Thursday, June 11, at approximately 7:00 to 7:30 a.m. Students registering enroll on a first-come, first-served basis.
Be sure to carefully follow these directions:
- Go to the Sierra College website http://www.sierracollege.edu
- Select My Sierra /Log in
- Enter User Name/Password
- Select “Schedule of Classes"
- Select the “Fall 2009"
- Select Term
- Select subject – “ESS” (Environmental Studies and Sustainability)
- Locate and write down the CRN number that you want to register for – see below for the three choices of course sections
- Close out the CRN window
- Select "Add or Drop Classes” and follow the prompts for Fall 2009 Registration.
Available Course Sections:
- ESS 30 section will be held in Grass Valley Mon. & Wed. – 4:30 to 7:40 p.m. (Specific address listed on college web site.)
- ESS 30 section will be held at Sierra College Roseville Gateway on Mon. & Wed. – 4:30 to 7:40 p.m.
- ESS 30 section will be held at Sierra College Roseville Gateway on Tues. & Thurs. &ndash 4:30 to 7:40 p.m.
Please be aware that we have received over 450 inquiries about the new Energy Technology - Photovoltaics program. Given constraints of laboratory facility sizes and instructor availability, class sizes will be smaller than standard in this program. We wish that we could accommodate more students.
If you are not able to enroll for one of the ESS 30 course sections, we provide the following information.
