In partnership with the Continuous Improvement Network (CIN), Sierra College Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT) will offer a two-day 7S training from 8 am to 5 pm on Sept. 20 and Oct. 9 for $170 per person including box lunches on both days. The Sept. 20 training will be held at the Sierra College Roseville Gateway campus, 333 N. Sunrise Blvd., Roseville and the Oct. 9 training will be held at Rex Moore, 6001 Outfall Circle, Sacramento. To register, contact Judy Schmidt (916) 747-2162 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
The 7S principles – sort, set in order, shine, safety, sustainability, standardize and sustain -- help employees become highly efficient and effective. Participants will learn to recognize the elements of 7S and gain an understanding of the importance of 7S in the workplace. Some of the practical skills covered in the training include: implementing the 30 second rule, organizing a 7S event, conducting a red tag event, establishing 7S standards and implementing a 7S work area audit.
