Music Department Presents A Spring Band Invitational Concert

The Sierra College Music Department is proud to present a Spring Band Invitational Concert on Wednesday, April 24th, 7:30pm in Dietrich Theatre on the Sierra College Rocklin Campus.

Spend an evening with the Symphonic Bands from Lincoln High School and Placer High School, plus the Sierra College Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony, under the direction of Greg McLaughlin, plus special guests the Sac State Concert band, under the direction of Dr. Clay Redfield, for a program of traditional and contemporary band music including “King Cotton,” by John Philip Sousa, “Shenandoah,” arranged by Frank Ticheli, “Molly on the Shore,” by Percy Grainger, and “Suite of Old American Dances,” by Robert Russell Bennett.

The Sierra College Rocklin Campus is located at 5000 Rocklin Road, Rocklin CA. Admission for this concert is $6 student/senior and $10 general. Tickets are available at the door. All proceeds benefit the Sierra College Music Department. There is a $3 parking fee on campus. Parking permits can be purchased at machines located within the campus parking lot.
