Beginning in January 2014, Sierra College is launching a new way for students to receive refunds from Sierra College, the Wolverine One Card from Higher One®.
This is just an access card, not a debit card unless if you choose it to be. Once activated, you can choose a refund method (including Financial Aid disbursements). You can create a One Account and the WolverineOne card is a debit card, receive a paper check, or have the money direct deposited to your bank (ACH).
If you don't activate your account, you may have to wait up to 14 days for a default check! So update your address in mySierra and keep an eye out for the green envelope in January 2014.

Refunds will be automatically processed 6-8 weeks after the semester begins.
This list may be modified at any time.
You are entitled to a refund if you drop a full-term course by the Add/ Drop/ Refund Deadline. The Add/ Drop/ Refund Deadline for full-term courses is typically two weeks following the course start date (see Semester Calendar for the appropriate semester). Short-term and Fast-Track courses each have their own Add/ Drop/ Refund Deadlines. Check with the professor or on your schedule located in your mySierra account.
If you stop attending classes and fail to drop within the Add/ Drop/ Refund Deadline (See Course Drops), you may be responsible for all tuition and fees.
If your class is cancelled, you are entitled to a refund. Refunds are automatically issued six to eight weeks after the beginning of the semester.
You are eligible for a refund only if you drop all courses by the Add/ Drop/ Refund Deadline. (See Course Drops).
All students attending Sierra College pay a Health Fee. The Board of Directors established this fee in 1987. The fee pays for the operation of Health Services. Any enrolled student is welcome to be seen at the clinic. General visits are free, physicals $10, immunization prices vary.
A small fee is charged when any laboratory tests are performed. Some prescriptions are available at Health Services for a reduced cost. The clinics are staffed by Family Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and a Physician, as well as our front office staff.
A Sierra College student body election resulted in approval of a mandatory Student Center Fee, designed solely for the purpose of funding a new student center. The fee, charged for the Fall and Spring semesters is $1 per unit to a maximum of $5 per semester.
Required of all students except those:
Questions regarding the student center fee only may be directed to the Campus Life Office at (916) 660-7380.
