We are the Environmentally Concerned Organization of Students (ECOS) at Sierra College. We support and promote environmental advocacy, sustainability, stewardship and education. ECOStudents pursue local, state, national, and global issues that affect directly or indirectly the environment.
We strive to make positive changes happen on campus and in our community. We attend conferences, go on field trips, do restoration projects, volunteer with local non-profits, have a student garden and much more. Each spring semester we organize the Earth Day celebrations on campus. Join us and see how you can help make a difference!
Get involved. Get active. Get to know your world!
We meet every WEDNESDAY at 5 p.m. in S-110, Sewell Hall. (Spring semester 2014). We look forward to seeing you at our next meeting.
