Our wireless network allows students to connect a maximum of 3 devices to each mySierra log on credentials, and the wireless system "remembers" the devices you have connected. Attempts to connect additional devices to a specific mySierra log on account will fail. Sharing your mySierra log on credentials with other people will likely result in your inablility to connect to our wireless network!
We make every effort possible to support Wi-Fi service for the myriad of device types that are available. However, there is no way to guarantee that all devices will work with our wireless network. We recommend that you confirm with your wireless device vendor that your device supports the following features before attempting to connect:
If your device supports the standards as described here, it should work. If you encounter connectivity difficulties, you will be required to work with your device manufacturer’s technical support for troubleshooting wireless problems. If you do not want to take on this responsibility, do not purchase wireless access.
Campus wireless service is available to students after they purchase an Associated Students of Sierra College (ASSC) activity sticker ($10 per semester) through Credentials. After purchasing the activity sticker your wireless account should be accessible within 24 hours. (You no longer have to go to the Campus Life office.)

EOPS students are automatically activated to wireless.
How do I get my device on the Sierra College Campus Wi-Fi Service after I have received my ASSC Activity Sticker?
Select the Wi-Fi service with the SSID: Sierra
Use your Sierra College (mySierra) username and password to connect to the Wi-Fi service.
What do I do if I still cannot get access through the Sierra Wireless Network?
Students should contact the Campus Life office to assure your account has been activated and/or to report system outages or problems. Campus Life does not provide technical assistance for configuration settings on your device.
