This morning there was a small fire in the student housing building located on the Rocklin campus. Students were quickly evacuated and are all safe. The Rocklin Fire Department extinguished the fire and remained on site for cleanup. There are no additional closures or impacts to campus. Additional communications will be sent directly to impacted students.

With the roads closed due to snow, Kim Bateman, Dean of the Tahoe-Truckee Campus, took it upon herself to ski to campus and check on the temperature and reboot the system that controls the boilers.
