With the roads closed due to snow, Kim Bateman, Dean of the Tahoe-Truckee Campus, took it upon herself to ski to campus and check on the temperature and reboot the system that controls the boilers.

Sierra College has announced that its issuance rating for the second series of Measure E bonds has been upgraded by Moody’s to Aaa from Aa1. The Aaa rating is rare for a community college.
