The Sierra College Foundation is proud to present the 13th annual A Taste of Excellence, a Food and Wine Tasting event. This premier event of Placer County will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017, on the Sierra College campus in Rocklin. A Taste of Excellence is the Foundation’s largest fund-raising effort and includes a tasting of fine foods and wines from the best restaurants and wineries in Northern California, as well as a silent and live auction. We anticipate over 500 attendees with a ticket price of $150 per person.
Sierra College Foundation hosts a dinner reception to thank its major donors for their support and generosity during the past year. Donors are entertained with student performances and student speakers shared their stories.
The next reception will be January 30, 2017.
As the school year begins, Sierra College takes an extra step to ensure that one group of students gets off to a good start. In partnership with the Sierra College Foundation and numerous community organizations and businesses, the college provides more than 100 care packs to young people who were previously served by the state’s foster care system but now find themselves on their own.
The next luncheon will be held in August 2017.
NOTE: We do not charge for parking from 4:00 PM on Friday to 11:00 PM on Sunday on the Rocklin Campus.
