At the start of each Fall term, Sierra College takes an extra step to ensure that one group of students gets off to a good start. In partnership with the Sierra College Foundation and numerous community organizations and businesses, the college provides more than 100 care packs to young people who were previously served by the state’s foster care system but now find themselves on their own.
