Sierra College offers classes designed to enrich the lives of community members and students through Community Education and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).


Community Education

Community Education at Sierra College offers a variety of exciting classes and activities designed to meet the personal enrichment and professional development interests of our diverse community. Our courses are short-term, not-for-credit, fee-based classes, workshops and training programs providing opportunities to expand your horizons, develop your talents or learn a new skill.   • Classes are offered in areas of career, computers, creative arts, food and wine, health, home and garden and many others.
  • Special activities such as motorcycle training, trips and children’s sports camps are also offered.
  • New classes begin nearly every week and are scheduled at times convenient for adults, including evenings and weekends. Additionally, more than 300 online courses are available in a wide variety of subjects.

Community Education is self-supporting and participant fees cover program costs.


OLLI

OLLI at Sierra College is a learning community with 1,000+ members. It is designed for lifelong learners, ages 50 years or better, who are eager to explore new areas of knowledge without the stress of tests or grades.

We offer a wide variety of classes in art, film, government, health, history, literature, music, and science. All courses are designed to keep minds and bodies active.

To fit your busy lifestyle, OLLI classes meet for just one class meeting or once a week for two, four, or six-weeks. OLLI offers a unique way to explore new topics in the classroom, outdoors, and online. Join us today!
