Communication Studies graduates learn how to effectively communicate in many contexts, such as the workplace, social settings, community events and interpersonal situations. Following graduation, Communication Studies and Journalism majors work in many fields, including law, marketing, journalism, business, politics, multimedia, entertainment, video production, TV and radio broadcasting and telecommunications. Find jobs as managers, executives, human relations, writers, public relations specialists or educators.
Students in the People, Culture and Society area want to learn about others in order to serve them well. They learn about the diversity of human experiences and how our relationships with each other create a deeper understanding and acceptance of our similarities.
