ASSISTED PROCUREMENT:
All public works procurements are made under the guidance and direction of the Director of Facilities. The District has adopted the California Uniform Cost Accounting Act which governs public works procurements as follows: Procurements under $60,000 may be performed by District staff, negotiated contract or purchase order. Procurements between $60,000 and $200,000 may be awarded pursuant to informal bidding. Prospective vendors can complete Informal Bidding Act Contractor Pre-Qualification Application Form for inclusion on District’s Qualified Contractor Listing. Procurements in excess of $200,000 are subject to competitive bidding requirements. View current listing of bid and procurement opportunities.
